We are building a worldwide community of people who believe in Love, Laughter, Compassion, Appreciation and Forgiveness. As a local community, be part of a growing global movement for health, happiness and world peace. We meet together on a Monday night 7.30-9.30pm to laugh together. Come with an open heart. A plate of yummy childhood inspired food to share. Comfortable, colourful clothing and be prepared to have the time of your life, connect with others and develop your Spirit of Joy!

.....combines simple, playful laughter exercises with breathing, stretching, rhythmic clapping and chanting. It is appropriate for all age groups and fitness levels. There are no strenuous movements or special equipment needed, which means you can receive the benefits of Laughter Yoga whether at work, home, or in a public space. No sense of humour is required, as laughter is simulated, and quickly becomes contagious ensuring that you will experience the Spirit of Joy rising up out of your belly!
Each session lasts around 30 – 40 minutes and can be tailored to suit any situation. It is very interactive, dynamic, yet gentle. And, most importantly highly entertaining. Some of the benefits you will experience are:
Your immune system will be boosted. Your respiratory system will be strengthened. You will have greater self-confidence and feelings of self-worth. Laughter Yoga fosters good communication skills and quietens your mind. You receive an internal massage, stimulating your digestive system. Your endorphins, or natural painkillers are stimulated. Your memory will improve. Your productivity at work or in the home will be increased. You will feel more creative, less stressed and generally more relaxed.

Lynda Bailey is available to facilitate Laughter and Happiness Educational Events either in your place of work, or you can arrange to come to Emerald Glen. A Drama Teacher originally, Lynda also expanded into other creative areas studying at The Learning Connexion for a number of years, then at Whitieria Polytechnic. For the past 30 years she has been involved in teaching and facilitating groups in creative pursuits. With wide experience in a variety of age groups from children to adults. She has also facilitated celebrational gatherings and women's ritual groups. As a children's entertainer Lynda gained valuable experience in the art of humour. So, it was only natural that she came across Laughter Yoga and trained as a Leader with Sebastian Gendry, the founder of the American School of Laughter Yoga – http://www.laughangeles.com/
