Wwoofer accommodation – in exchange for 4-5 hours work per day, we provide you with good food and board
Self-catering accommodation – you have access to good kitchen/laundry facilities and a comfy bed. You provide your own linen/towels, and you take care of yourselves
Bed & Breakfast accommodation – we make up a beautiful bed for you, and provide all the little extras to make your stay special. In the morning you will enjoy a breakfast of your choice to nourish you for the rest of the day!
Fully catered accommodation – be totally looked after and take time out to relax.

Wwoofing – exchange of energy
Self-catering - $40 per person. Children - $20 each.
Bed & Breakfast - $80 per person

We have three rooms and two bathrooms that can be used in different configurations. Either seven singles and one queen or five singles, one king and one queen. A portacot and high chair are also available on request. Check out the possibilities below......

When you do stay with us you will also meet Harry and Globe, our working dogs. Lulu and Millie our cats and Flossie, who lives in the cottage – she is Harry's sister and frequently visits the homestead. Our animals are very much part of the family and are very friendly to anyone who comes to Emerald Glen. If you have a well-behaved pet you would like to bring with you, please let us know, so we can discuss that option.

Start the day well with homemade museli, a freshly made fruit smoothie, a selection of piping hot toast or muffins with your favourite spreads. Or maybe you would like a more hearty breakfast and try some of our homestead lamb sausages with free-range eggs of your choice, baked tomatoes, mushrooms and bacon on the side. Finish the feast with bottomless cups of tea, coffee, milo or whatever liquid gets you going. The choice is yours! Dietary needs are catered for.

Recreation, Activities and Attractions available for you to enjoy: You can play board games, enjoy a wide selection of DVD's, CD's & videos. Or, play badminton, build a fairy house, feed the ducks and eels. Meet the fairies, pixies and other magical creatures. Perhaps you would enjoy creating artwork, making music, having a massage, enjoying the spa or vibrosaun. There are many walks and beautiful beaches near by. There is horse riding in Queen Elizabeth Park over the road. 4x4 Wheel Adventures up the road. Or, book a trip to Kapiti Island. Visit Lindale Tourist & Agricultural Centre, Southward Car Museum, Nga Manu Sanctuary, The Parrot Ranch, The Lavender Farm – there is so much to do up here on the sunny Kapiti Coast!
